Pretty Yellow Divider

I spotted a very nice yellow divider that is perfect for use in the garden during sunny days. This divider seems to be made from tent-like material but I think it is softer and washable:

and it can be also used as a stylish tent like this:

Modular Home Designs

I glanced over one issue of Country Living magazine and I saw the modular homes that they featured. I really fell in love with the new idea of building a home using modular construction because one can have his or her dream house in shorter period of time.

I especially like the featured 1800-square-foot farmhouse in Livingston Manor, N.Y. because it is modern and yet, has a relaxing ambiance. According to the Country Living magazine, that farmhouse is an energy-efficient marvel of modern and ecologically minded ingenuity.

Modular home construction has many benefits such as using less wood (nature friendly), less expensive than traditional home construction, offers great and diverse home designs and architecture and most of all, you cannot question its structural strength.

Building your dream home is guaranteed to be enjoyable and hassle-free because in just a matter of 2 to 3 months, you can step-in to your home sweet home! Cool, isn’t it? A new home with awesome interior design in just several months!

Don't Rush When Choosing Paint

I was browsing the internet for some house painting tips and guess what? I found bunch of helpful tips regarding choosing paint for your home. I read from it that when choosing paint, we should consider our existing home upholstery or carpet before buying paint.
I realized that this is really needed because we don’t want to paint our home and then found out that our existing curtains, beddings, carpet, etc looked awkward with the newly painted walls. That will be a big disaster right?

If you have variety colors and designs of curtains and beddings, perhaps, the safest are the neutral colors as it can be mix and match with almost any designs. Color is a personal choice so choose one that express your personality and be combined with your favorite things around your room. But it is said that you should never have your favorite color be painted for your walls; instead, choose a more subtle color blend that will enhance your favorite colors in your room.

Hmm… choosing paint color is not that easy so I must never rush to buy paint yet. I need to assess my existing beddings and curtains so that my room will not look “awkward.”

Interior Designing Anyone?

Recently, I noticed that some friends are "overhauling" their "cribs" and many of them didn't hire a professional to redecorate their place. This made me think that I can have my house redecorated too but because I am not a pro, I need to plan first.

I wanted to modify the paint of our house from apple green to peach or probably plum because I think these colors imply serenity and comfort. Then I will match it with floral edge designs to add "homey" feel. But I am still thinking if I will have a single color for the entire house or paint each room using different colors.

And also, I need to decide what paint I will be using because we are already occupying the house...perhaps, smell-free / odorless paint is the best and safest but I am not yet sure if its quality is the same over the regular paint...

Oh, then I need to do some research...
